Painting

Kyle Kent "Tiger"

9x12" Paint marker and magazines

This is a collage work of a tiger I found on the internet. I starting cutting magazine shapes, but that took really long. So I switched over to paint markers. This is in-progress and I am still working on it.

Kyle Kent " 3D Shape"

9x12" Watercolor on Paper 2020

This was my baseline painting. I chose to paint with watercolor. I was trying to make a 3D illusion. I really love the bright colors in the painting. If I were to start over, I wouldn't really change it.

These are my sketches for painting class.

Kyle Kent "Leopard"

8x11.5 Oil Pastels

I got my idea from a picture on the computer. I traced the picture with a pencil and then colored it with oil pastels. I want people to know that the leopard is a strong animal. The leopard was hard to draw so I just kept trying. I would not use a bluish green for the weeds I would use a dark green instead. This is a realistic picture. I like how the leopard is coming out of the grass.
