KT "KT Masterpiece"

 (IDEA) my idea was to draw a picture that i had saved from last year in my L. A class.  i got the idea by going through my camera roll in my computer and seeing what i looked like last year it evolved by having more color that what is had at first and that it turned into a self portrait.  I got inspired by this from seeing one of my classmates draw and portrait of themselves 

(PROCESS) it took over 2 weeks to finish i started with a grid and put that onto the paper and started sketching from there then when i finish the outline i begin erasing the lines and starting my color and shading and i use plenty of markers professional ones and normal ones   

(SYMBOLISM & ICONOGRAPHY) it shows how i looked a year ago in L.A I want them to think that whatever you draw or put out is not always going to be good but its your work make it history for yourself.  

(ARTISTIC GROWTH) the most difficult was trying to find the right shadings and colors for my art. getting help and trying my best to compare it to the sheet print and colored version. I would make my face straight and more shaped right 

(VISUAL VOICE) surreal (Realistic, Abstract, Surreal, Non-Objective?). i like that this is my first different shaded drawing  I love that it looks decent and is kinda comparable
