My idea was to paint something with flowers because I really enjoy drawing flowers. I got the idea from searching for cute flowers on the internet. My idea evolved by thinking I was going to add a lot more to the painting but I really only did the flowers.
The process of this was by first finding what kind of flowers I wanted to do, what style I wanted to do, what colors I wanted to do, and the size of everything. Then I had to paint the background of the canvas. Then, I had to draw the flowers on the canvas and also paint the flowers. Lastly, I added an outline to the flowers to complete it.
This artwork doesn't have a meaning I just painted it because I thought it would be cute. I think my audience will think it is really basic but super cute. There is no symbolic imagery to this either.
What was most difficult for me was trying to figure out what to do with the flowers once they were done. Either I should add things to it or just leave the flowers be. I really liked just how the flowers looked by themselves. I overcame these struggles by really thinking about what I would do and what the possibilities would be for the painting. If I could change something it would be to take my time more because if you get really close you can see little mistakes but from afar I think it looks good.
What I like about it is basically everything I just like how in some spots it doesn't look so good
My idea for this painting was to do something a little like my last painting because I like that way of painting. How I got this idea was me thinking about what I needed to do for my four ideas and I know I wanted to do an animal and I really like butterflies.
The process for this painting was to decide what I wanted to do for this project. Then finding the size of canvas I wanted to do and what color I wanted the background to be. I then sketched the two butterflies onto the canvas and then painted the butterflies. The tools I used were a canvas, some paintbrushes, and water. A technique I used a lot for this painting was blending.
The artwork doesn't have a meaning I just thought it would be a cute painting. I want my audience to think that it is a good painting and looks somewhat realistic. There is also no symbolic imagery in this painting.
What was most difficult for me was putting the black on the butterfly because I had to paint the colors on first then the black so I just really needed to take my time with that. How I overcame struggles was by being patient with the painting. If I could change something if I were to start over it would maybe fix the orange butterfly a little bit there is just one part with the black I don't like.
The style of art is kinda realistic but also a little bit pop-arty. What makes it unique and my own style is that I have made flowers kinda like this but now I just made a butterfly so it kinda shows how I like to paint. What I love about this is that I think It turned out better than what I thought and I just overall really like it.
My idea for this painting was to do something fast and easy but make sure I got the landscaping done. I wanted to do something with water and a sunset. The process for this was way more complicated than it needed to be. I spent a lot of time trying out watercolors, but then I realized I didn't like watercolor, and went from using a canvas to paper. I think actually started to free-paint my sunset and do it randomly. This artwork does not have a meaning to it. I don't know what I want my audience to think about this because even I don't like it and I feel like I just did not try hard enough. What was most difficult for me was trying something that I'm not good at painting. How I overcame these struggles was just trying my best and if I don't like the outcome I can say I tried. Im not sure what style this is. What makes it unique is that it is not real looking.
