Painting 2

This is my baseline painting, I kind of wanted to do a idea of a cherry blossom tree because they ae so pretty. I just thought of something different to do & something new that I haven't done before to come out of my comfort box.

To make this I grabbed a paper, paint and mostly mixed the different colors to get the different pinks so I could make a reference of a cherry blossom but it kind of just looks like a really pink fluffy tree instead. 

I dont think I have a meaning to this baseline at all, cherry blossoms are very beautiful and I never seen one in real time but I know they are mostly located in japan. I would love to see one of these one day. 

I did pretty good with this painting, and I know im starting to go above and beyond with paintings im doing way better than ever and im proud of myself for putting in hard work and effort. I personally love painting now like more than drawing.

For this project I decided to find a picture in my camera roll and it was my life one as in nature/landscape for this project. I was at a track meet for this picture and took a picture of the sun setting because I love sunsets.

To make this I grabbed a canvas and matched the colors to the picture and painted it a light blue then tried to paint the track and the grass, trees, sky, and lastly the light, is the order I did to complete this painting. 

There is no meaning to this all though it is nature and it is peaceful so I take this as relief. I had to do the lines 2 times because I kept messing up, I wont stop until it looks like straight and as close as possible. 

I am proud of myself with this because Im improving in painting more than I have with drawing, In my opinion I like painting more its so peaceful and relaxing. 

This is my black and white painting that Ms. Davis had us do and I chose to do a wolf because wolves are my favorite animal, they are so beautiful, and they are my spirit animal in my opinion they are just very unique animals.

I made this out of black and white paint, first I actually painted my background grey, then I drew my grid and started to sketch the outline of this wolf and the facial details. Also I gave up on the sketching because it looked weird, so then I free handed painted this painting.

No meaning to this, but its always unique to do different things, Im glad we did this project because I like to try new challenging things. This is now my favorite painting/art I have ever done, because Ive never done this good before.

Like I said this is my favorite painting I have ever done before, because I did very good on it and I discovered im better at painting animals than humans, and landscapes which is suprising to me but it excites me. 

This is my choice painting, I chose to paint a picture of my miniature dachshund named Bruno, he is so adorable and its not completley him because some of his legs actually have white and black dots but I just followed the picture that I had printed out. 

For this painting I started by looking for a picture of Bruno, then I started painting the background. After the background I used the projector to project the image onto the canvas to sketch it out and shortly after I found colors that matched him and started filling the lines. 

I dont have any idea of a meaning for this painting, all I do know is I love him so much hes so sweet, and I will be able to cherish this piece forever. Again this is why I think Im better at painting than drawing and also better at painting animals than anything else.

This is my second favorite painting its honestly hard to choose but Im very proud of myself for trying new things in art and coming out of my comfort zone and challenging myself.
