The Man is my first project in this class. I got the idea to make a square head the would reference from a game. I thought it would be better to add more so its not just a square to put things in. i added handles to it for caring it around like a basket. I chose this because i thought it would be good and easy for a first project and it was if was fun to make. I used a rolling pin to make slab clay for all sides the I rolled two pieces out to make the handles. I had used a clay cutting tool to sketch in the eyes and the mouth. then i had to let it dry the fire it, after I glazed it with a dark brown for the hair and a peach skin tone color for the face and a blue for the eyes and white for part of the eyes and the mouth. If i could change anything about my project it would be doing better on the glazing because it looks a little sloppy and i could of done better

The Bye Bye Hand is a knock off of the Thanose Gauntlet. i got my inspiration from the Marvel movie End Game it is the gauntlet that one of the main protagonist wears. This was fun to make it was a little hard at first because i had to make a hand shape that would stay and be hollow so it would not blow up when it gets fired. and when i did get fired one of the fingers came off so there is a little hole in it. I made this by slab clay I cut out my hand on the slabs twice to make the hand the i pinched it together to make the hand the for the wrist part i just rolled up the slab then set the hand on it and connected them, Then i added the stones. then i put a ring around them for more design, Then i let it dry and fire. I glazed it a bright yellow and color all the stones differently. If I could change anything it would be the yellow stone it was sapose to be a darker yellow but just blends in with the other yellow and i would of make the finger stronger so it would not break.

Bloody Pot This is one of my favorite things i have made. I got inspiration from pots that we seen in class and i wanted to make something like it. this was a little different from all the things i had made before because i was coil and i had not done it before but it was really fun, I started with a slab bace and cut it into a circle the had to press clay throw the coil press then i would have to slip and score then and when i made the seashell things i had to roll them up and try to not let them fall. The handles were made with coil as well which i think made it come together really well. after i let it dry and get fired. at first i did not know what color to glaze it so i grabbed two colors and I think it looks good the black makes the red pop and just makes it look good. If i could change anything it would be the glaze on it and make the red thicker because you can see the clay through it. But other than that i think i did good and it looks good.

David and Goliath, me and my good friend made this to gather, us both being fans of The Bible and God. This was really fun to make it took a little bit but it was worth it just making the charters was fun. we had made it out of modeling clay we used our hands to form most of it but we also used metal tools to do other designs, we also used fake grass, beads, metal and wire. when we first started it was a little hard because I had to remake the face of David because i did not think it looked good enough after a couple try i got something i was happy with then we had to take the pictures which was fun. if i could change anything it would be to had a throne for David to sit on and try to make the seen when Goliath look better because you can barely see the rock hit him. Other than that i think it looks good and its a little funny.

Boba Fett, This was the hardest thing to make because it took a lot of clay and would fall apart with out supports. It was my favorite thing i made this semester. I got my inspiration originally from the show Mandalorian But I chose to change it because i wanted to add more color. I made it by using slab clay for the face and the back of the head and then i used coil for the top of the head. The hardest part of making it was making the curves in the cheek part of the helmet. It took a hole class to make both sides of it and Im just glad it stayed together. If i could change anything about it would be the cracks in it would of tried to fill the better and just add more clay to the in side to prevent it from breaking. over all I think i did a really good job on it. My favorite part on it is how I did the Bullet marks on the helmet, it turned out really well.

The Chest
My first idea was to make something to hold small snacks or candy on my desk. I did not know what to do for the design so I made a chest from a game. It would go well with what it is intended for to play games and eat candy. The process I used was I had to make slabs which was a little difficult at the time because I could only use a certain amount of clay. The tools I used were a plastic fork for scoring and slipping. I also used tools for cutting the clay. It is supposed to look bright and pop out a little and look a little cartoonish. I used the straight black lines to make the colors pop more and look more smooth. One of the most difficult parts of this was I was running out of clay and I did not think I would get done but I somehow had just the right amount of clay. Another difficult thing was making the straight lines and trying not to paint over the other colored glaze. If I could change anything I would use different colors because the black I was using was a bad glaze and I think I used light of a color for the rest of the chest. This is unique to me because I design it how I wanted and to my liking. It is a non-objective art piece. I love how it came out and how the black makes the colors pop out more and how the silver came out. It looks great.

My first idea was to make Jesus But after it got fired the top and the back side of its head broke off, So i decided to make a zombie. I got the zombie idea because its head was all messed up and it looked like you could see its brains. The process of making it was we had to get 3 cans and form them like the top half of a body. Then we taped newspapers all around it to form the head and the body the way we wanted. Then we put slab clay and the newspaper to make the The artwork. even if your first plan fails you could get something even better. If you ever put hair on your clay artwork make sure it's not too thick or it might blow up when it's getting fired. The most difficult thing for me was me making something with the head I made because the head was a little big. I had overcome that from adding more facial features to make it look even and not too big. If i could change anything it would be the size of the head and I would try to make Jesus again. The style of art is surreal because it looks more realistic than cartoonish or abstract. It is unique to me because I ture failed artwork into a new and better pice of artwork. I like that I added the bite mark on the zombie and the blood running down his mouth.
