I wanted to make a trilobite as my 3D painting clay relief. Trilobites are extinct marine arthropods that thrived for nearly 300 million years, appearing 521 million years ago and vanishing during the Permian mass extinction 252 million years ago. Known for their hard, three-lobed exoskeletons (head, thorax, tail), they were bottom-dwellers or swimmers ranging from millimeters to over 2 feet in length.
