For this painting, I used pointillism to create my painting.  I also used acrylic paint and many different brushes.  To me, this painting mainly expresses nature and how you can bring it out in different ways.  If I wanted an audience to look at this, I'd want them to think about the beginning of spring and into summer when flowers really start to bloom.  When I first started painting this, I began with the background and had to keep painting over top of what I was doing because I didn't quite know how to properly paint pointillism.  Then I soon figured it out by spreading the dots out a little more and got this painting done rather quickly.  If I was to re-do this Painting I would try to put the dots a tad bit closer but still make the painting look like a pointillism piece.  The style of this painting is probably surrealism.  I like this painting because I've never done anything like this, and it made me kind of come out of my shell.
