 Carson Ferguson 12X9 "drawing 2", Graphite 2023

This is a drawing of my old wrestling shoe, in black and white. Surprisingly the lighter grey around the Nike logo is very close to the actual color... gross. I started off with just the outline and the simple stuff, used graphite and a mechanical pencil to shade, and a blending stick to make it all look a little smoother. Those shoes lasted me over a season, which for me is very very good. It was a little difficult drawing the pure black parts with pencil, my hand kept cramping. This is a realistic drawing.
