Cali Dykema (dog)

I got the idea because I took a picture of my dog a while ago sitting on a stool. I thought it was so cute and I love the colors on my dog so I wanted to draw it. I also think it is so funny the way he sits down.

I got my paper and I put a grid on the paper. then I started to shade everything like the legs and body and the arms. I did the face last because I could not figure out how to get the face right so i asked for help i then finished shading everyone and adding the last details like the claws. the last thing I did was add the white parts.

I want people to know exactly what my dog looks like just from looking at my drawing. My artwork means a lot to me because it is my dog and I love my dog a lot I just love to draw or paint my dog.

The most difficult thing was the face I could not get the eyes and the shading right. I asked for help on the things I could not get right and now it looks much better. I wouldn't change anything, to be honest, I love how it turned out.

This artwork is realistic because it looks just like how my dog and I think the whole thing is unique and I love how it came out.

Cali Dykema (camping)

I got the idea offline but then I changed it up by adding big trees and trying to make the cabin a little older looking. I also tried adding stuff to the grass but I don't know how to feel about it.

I just looked up ideas on google but I knew I couldn't draw the same thing so I thought about how to switch it up then I got my paper and just started drawing it.

I just did it for fun I don't care what people take from it. I thought it was cool and i love camping and I love the mountains and the snow so I thought it would be cool.

It wasn't to hard to do and it wasn't that difficult but I just don't know if I really like it a lot. The grass and the trees were the hardest cause I didn't know how to get them to look real.

I just did the work for fun and just something that wouldn't take to long at all.

Cali Dykema (Halloween)

I got the idea because it was a picture of me and my brother's girlfriend from Halloween. I wanted to do it because she leaves for the military in a couple of days, and I wanted to make her something before she leaves.

I needed something to draw, so I wanted to make a picture of us cause I did something for my brother.

I did it so she could hang it in her house, and I hope people take that time is too short, so spend as much time with the people you care about when you can. I love this picture because of the colors and the meaning behind it.

It was not that hard; the only hard thing was, was the outline of our bodies. I really like the drawing, though I think it turned out really good.

I just did this for fun and thought it would look cool because of the bright colors, and I wanted to do something that wouldn't take long.
