"Mountain Landscape"

Medium, Acrylic, 2020

My idea was to paint a landscape. I saw a Bob Ross painting and I was thinking instead of having a waterfall I would make a grass field and a long river that cuts though the mountain landscape. I also made wild buffalo graze in the prairie.

I used a medium sized brush and a tiny brush. I also had a paint pallet with a water cup. I didn’t use much techniques because I am still learning the basics of high school painting, but I used color mixing, color blending, and color watering.

It’s meant to be a calm, relaxing landscape. It’s supposed to show the beauty of nature.

What was most difficult for me was making the fresh mud that’s close to the river.

I love the mountains and how they pop up in the background. This is attended to be a realistic style painting.
