Bella VanDrew “Rainbow Dash face”

For my art project I drew a portrait of myself with rainbow dash makeup. The reason I did this is because it's a moment that gets brought up in random conversation in my family because I didn't tell anyone what I was doing. I just randomly walked up to my mom and had all that makeup on my face. The process I did was I first started with finding the picture on my moms instagram. Then I decided what I wanted to do and I chose a pop of color so then I printed it out in both color and black and white with a graph. Then I started to sketch out the picture after I finished, I started to do graphite. I used graphite for the background, my shirt, my neck, my hand, and my hair. I used the color part for my face and my My Little Pony doll. The most difficult part was my face and getting all of the colors right, another hard part would probably be my hair and trying to place and find where everything lies. One things that I love about this project is how it shows my love for Rainbow Dash

Bella VanDrew “A cats love”

For this project I drew my cat and my stuffed animal. The stuffed animal I got when I was born and I got my cat Holly when I was one. The reason I did this is because I grew up with the best cat and the stuffed animal was my favorite so it was two of my favorite things in one picture. I still have Holly and she is still very cuddly as she is in the picture. I also still have the stuffed animal. The steps I did to create this art piece was I first found the picture and printed it out in color. Then I started to sketch out using a graph and then I colored it. The part I most struggled with was the background and getting her body/fur just right. The easiest part was the stuffed animal. This drawing means a lot to me due to the things in the picture.
