SMOKED AGAIN

Austin Yackle "Smoked Again"

16 x 20 , Portrait, 2023

Smoke withered from my lips, and it seems as though a sinned combustion was seen. The softness of smoke brings your fingers to dangle with it. Even though something goes to the haze, it can be a horizon of opaque pastels. She seems to become the smoke and the harsh lines dissipate away. This piece uses watercolor to lay down a subdued feeling, with a black, gel pen that lines the edges with details.
