A representation of decades of dreams, drink, and glimpses of a changing world. Magazines were of value to obtain pieces for the collage. There is a chaotic representation of love for a city named “New York.” Nothing matches but everything goes; where love is anarchic, but it’s elegant. For me, growth was seen in making a piece that matches well with other articles of the collage to make a blended idea. Finding pieces that didn’t seem out of place was strenuous. To overcome that concept, I took time to look through many magazines to find the right pieces for this collage. The artwork is abstract and throws you down a rabbit hole when viewing it since there are so many articles of collage that correspond with itself. Written to me, by me: "To just create a concept is sublime. To make something chaotically beautiful is exalting".
