When is the trip?

Please refer to the Trip Itinerary page for the official travel dates and schedule.

Is airfare included?

No. Airfare is not included unless specifically stated in your travel package.

Which airport should I fly into?

We recommend flying into Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY).

When can I book my hotel room?

The official hotel booking link is available. Click the Hotel Tab to get more info. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis while the group block lasts.

When is the hotel payment due?

The hotel requires full prepayment at the time your reservation is made. The discounted group rate is available through October 1, 2026, or until the room block sells out.

Are hotel taxes included?

Yes. Hotel taxes and any applicable fees are included in the quoted room rates and will be added by the hotel during booking.

What do my C&C Travels Event Dues include?

Your event dues include:

• Official C&C Travels Mardi Gras Takeover T-Shirt

• Welcome Swag Bag

• Meet & Greet Event

• Exclusive Group Activity

• Booking & Event Coordination

When are Event Dues due?

All C&C Travels Event Dues must be paid in full by December 1, 2026.

What should I pack?

We recommend bringing:

• Comfortable walking shoes

• Weather-appropriate clothing

• Purple, Green & Gold Mardi Gras attire

• Government-issued photo ID

• Portable phone charger

• Prescription medications

• Sunglasses and sunscreen

• Small crossbody or clear bag

• Spending money for meals, shopping, and entertainment

What is the weather like in New Orleans?

Weather can vary, but expect mild temperatures. We recommend checking the forecast before departure and packing layers for cooler evenings.

Can I choose my roommate?

Yes! If you're sharing a room, simply let us know who you'd like to room with when making your reservation.

Is travel insurance recommended?

Absolutely! We strongly encourage purchasing travel protection to help cover unexpected situations such as trip cancellations, travel delays, medical emergencies, or lost luggage.

Will there be free time?

Yes! While we've planned exciting group events, you'll also have free time to explore New Orleans, enjoy local restaurants, shop, or relax at your own pace.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know in advance if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs during group events.

How much walking should I expect?

Mardi Gras celebrations involve a significant amount of walking and standing. Comfortable footwear is highly recommended.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancellation policies vary depending on the hotel, suppliers, and travel arrangements. Please review your booking agreement carefully before making your reservation.
