There are so many ways to explore and create online - and you don't have to be at school to do that. Explore just a few of the awesome, creative resources available online below!
Students using 3D Printing Pens
In the fall of 2025, Danville School received a grant from the Vermont Community Foundation to improve our makerlab program. We purchased four 3D printers, as well as a classroom set of 3D printer pens. Our students begin using 3D pens in first grade, learning how the technology works and exploring uses. In third and fourth grade, students begin using 3D design software to create their own 3D projects. By fifth and sixth grade, students are taking quarterly makerlab classes, and delve deeper into complex printing. 3D printing instruction is offered to middle and high school students by appointment.
The Flashforge AD5X is a multi-filament printer that our students use to print designs with multiple colors.
The Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro is a fairly standard, single filament printer. It is quick and easy to use!
