Math Lab provides student with the opportunity to either complete proficiencies and graduation requirements or receive regular support in mathematics. Students will be able to be supervised and supported while working at their own rate as they build their mathematical practice and understanding. The class will offer small group instruction and individual attention to the extent possible.

In this course students will study Algebra 1 to build understanding of Algebraic concepts and continue to develop problem solving and mathematical reasoning skills. Attention will be paid to ensuring students are comfortable and confident with the skills necessary for success using mathematics in class and life. By the end of the course, students will have the opportunity to complete all Algebra I indicators and proficiencies.

Algebra 2 is recommended for students who are interested in post-secondary study. This course is a teacher-paced advanced Algebra class. The main focus is functions and equations beyond the scope of Algebra I including, but not limited to, quadratic, power, rational, polynomial, logarithmic and exponential. Students will learn to graph, solve, problem solve, and understand quadratic functions and solve quadratic equations. Students will also study polynomial, radical, and exponential functions.
(Pre-requisite: Algebra 1)

Pre-Calculus is recommended for students who are interested in post-secondary study of mathematics, science as well as for admission at rigorous colleges. The focus of the course is a study of functions and modeling--algebraic, polynomial and rational, expnential, logarithmic and trigonometic. Trigonometry will include right triangle trig; basic trigonometric functions and their inverses; trig laws and applications; and proofs and identities. The course includes graphing technology to study problem situations analytically, graphically, and numerically.
(Pre-requisite: Algebra 2 or permission of instructor.)

This class will fulfill the Probabilty and Statistics graduation requirement. We will explore the fundamentals of probability, then dig into the power of statistical analysis. You will learn how to plan a study, collect and analyze data, and present your findings in a clear and honest way. You will also learn how to make sense of statistical findings presented in the media and in scientific literature. This class will prepare you to be a better citizen, and the skills and concepts you learn will be relevant for many career paths. Assessment will include tests, quizzes, and projects.
This course is taught by Caleb Corliss.

This is class will explore fundamental principals of Newtonian physics: mass, force, acceleration, laws of motion and gravity. Students learn through hands on projects such as rockets, propeller cars, and rollercoasters.
This course is taught by Trevor Tait.
