The inequality, the imbalance
Tipping the scales of wrong and right
A woman walks into a bar
Is she to be hurt?
Because of her religion?
Because of her people?
Because of her gender?
None are her fault, none can be changed,
Not if she wants to stay true to herself
Why is she shunned?
For the color of her skin or the way that she talks
Is she to blame?
Or are you?
Every time you said nothing.
Every time you followed the crowd.
Every time you looked at a face and only saw an alien.
