My main goal in teaching is to be a facilitator who guides students to their highest potential. This means that I must first know my students so that I can know how each student learns best. This gained knowledge will allow me to design daily learning based on the students’ needs and interests. I believe that this also factors into the classroom management I will have. This approach to teaching will have students be more engaged in their learning. I also believe that ALL students never stop learning. This means formative assessments can be revisited because students can learn from the mistakes they make, just as I can learn if I need to reteach based on the outcome of these assessments.
