This Peer Mentoring Physical Education course will provide psychomotor, cognitive and affective learning for both general education and life skills students. This course will allow students to explore fitness and lifetime activities while working together in a non-judgmental environment. The general education students will learn how to be peer leaders and mentors to the life skills students, as the class will also demonstrate modeling in a physical education setting for the life skill students to follow and learn from. The purpose of this class is to promote inclusivity, acceptance and tolerance for all students enrolled. During the physical nature of the class, all students will develop social and emotional skills.
