$20.00 for NEW members.

How to be a member in good standing AND get Senior Cords
1) Complete the club’s community service requirement, and pay a one time dues fee of $30 (includes your cords AND a T-Shirt)
2) Attend at least 75% of meetings
3) Participate in the induction ceremony and all major events
4) Maintain your average (90 weighted overall, 93 in social studies class), and your integrity for the rest of your time at CHS

Purpose
Promote and recognize academic achievement in business education at Connetquot
Foster and recognize leadership skills and character development
Help members grow ethically and socially by promoting and encouraging an interest in business; and
Encourage member involvement in service learning initiatives
Application Guidelines & Requirements
Must be a high school junior or senior
Must have completed or be currently enrolled in his/her third business course (includes Spring enrollment)
Must stay enrolled in a business class for the duration of membership
Must have a minimum standard 3.5 GPA average in business courses (90)
Must have a minimum standard 3.2 GPA overall since 10th grade (88)
Outstanding academics, character, leadership and service in the school community
Available to attend meetings and activities NBHS organizes
Must submit a complete application, copy of HS transcript and essay
A well constructed essay must be typewritten explaining why you feel you should be accepted to the NBHS, including what qualities you exhibit would contribute to this organization as well as your personal attributes that would help foster the growth and reputation of this organization.
Based on structure, grammar, content, and quality of the writing, we give each essay one of the following ratings: FAIR, GOOD, VERY GOOD, or EXCELLENT.
Application Requirements
Must be enrolled in a music ensemble and have an overall ensemble average of 95 or above.
Must have an overall average of 90 or above on your report card.
Must have ensemble teacher's approval and recommendation.
Must complete a NYSSMA Solo at NYSSMA Festival or for the Tri-M advisor. (Current 8th graders need to perform a level 3 solo. Current 9th-11th graders need to perform a level 4 or higher.)
Must submit a personal statement explaining why being a part of Tri-M would be important and why music is valued in your life.
Application Requirements:
Open to 10th -12th grade students
Must be enrolled in an art class
Must maintain 90 or above average in the art classes
10 hours of community service.
90 percent attendance at meetings
Application Requirements:
Open to juniors and seniors
No marking period grade lower than 90 in your high school World Language classes.
Overall final average must be 85.0% (unweighted) or higher.
No marking period grade lower than 70% in any course. (not mid-term or final, just the quarter grades.
