This rubric is used to grade the quality of the Google Slides presentation.
Creative Communicator: Students communicate clearly and express themselves creatively for a variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats and digital media appropriate to their goals.
1 - Unable to display any indication that student has met the standard.
2 - Student is able to explain process but uses little to no relevant vocabulary associated with the unit.
3 - Student is able to clearly explain process and uses a good variety of relevant vocabulary associated with unit.
4 - Student is able to clearly explain process and uses a good variety of relevant vocabulary associated with unit. Student also explains vocabulary used within the presentation so that someone not familiar with vocabulary meaning would be able to understand.
5 - Student is able to clearly explain process and uses a good variety of relevant vocabulary associated with unit. Student also explains vocabulary used within the presentation so that someone not familiar with vocabulary meaning would be able to understand. Presentation is completed in such a way that a viewer would be easily able to replicate the process.

Innovative Designer: Student uses a variety of technologies within a design process to identify and solve problems by creating new, useful or imaginative solutions by creating code that enables a robot to complete a variety of actions.

3 - Student is able to produce code that includes key concepts from the lesson. Code may or may not be the shortest code possible to complete the tasks.
4 - Student is able to produce code that includes key concepts from the lesson. Code exhibits many indications of key concepts and uses the shortest most concise code possible to complete the tasks.
5 - Student is able to produce code that includes key concepts from the lesson. Code exhibits many indications of key concepts and uses the shortest most concise code possible to complete the tasks. Student also creates 3D auxiliary materials to (such as a maze) and writes the code based on completing tasks related to the auxiliary materials.
