Before starting your project, download the EV3 Animal Rescue from the accessories section. Complete the entire Getting Started section, and all of Explore Idea 2 but NOT Make Your Own. If your robot has legs, this is all you will need to complete. If your robot has wheels, you will also need to explore Make the Turtle Move.
You and your group are tasked with coding your EV3 to demonstrate your understanding of commands, functions and loops. You will be making your Lego Mindstorm go through a maze. You do not have to use every part of the maze and do not worry if your Lego EV3 doesn't follow the lines of the maze exactly.
To get a 3, you need to have at least 1 loop and 1 function. You must include the words command, calling a function, defining a function, and for loop in your presentation.
To go for a 4, you need multiple examples of the concepts and the code also needs to be the shortest code possible. You must include the words command, calling a function, defining a function, and for loop in your presentation.
For a 5, you must include the requirements for the 4 but also need to construct something that your Lego Mindstorm uses in the code you write. If you and your group want to go for the 5, please conference with the teacher so you are able to obtain the building materials you will need. You must include the words command, calling a function, defining a function, and for loop in your presentation.
