Hello 7th Graders!

My name is Ms. Pisano and I will be your 7^th grade math teacher this year. I also teach one section of ELA, which is great because I LOVE to read. This is my sixth year teaching at Stratford and I am so proud to be a Stallion! I graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL - Go Illini!! I love school so much that I went back to earn my Master's degree in Educational Technology Leadership from Concordia University Chicago. This year will be unlike any other, but I know that we are going to have a great school year together! #WeAreStallions

Here is a little bit more about me:

• I am a big Chicago Cubs fan and enjoy going to baseball games over summer

• I have a goal to read 100 books this year - so far I have read 57 books!

• I have one younger brother, Frankie, who is an elementary school social worker

• I love to travel and visit new places. My favorite place is the Amalfi Coast in Italy

• I am a morning person but I still like to start my day with Starbucks Cold Brew

• I live in Chicago in Lincoln Park and enjoy trying new restaurants and going for walks in the city

• My favorite book is Wonder by R.J. Palacio. Always be kind!
