Welcome to Computer Coding at Jay Stream

This is the website we will be using daily in class along with Google Classroom. On this website you will find your assignments, how to meet and exceed standards on each assignment, and the websites you will be using.

During your 7 weeks in this class we will cover the following standards:

ISTE Student Standard 4: Innovative designer

Student uses a variety of technologies within a design process to identify and solve problems by creating new, useful or imaginative solutions by creating code that enables a robot to complete a variety of actions.

ISTE Student Standard 6: Creative Communicator

Students communicate clearly and express themselves creatively for a variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats and digital media appropriate to their goals.

All assignments will cover a similar format:

1. Introduction (from teacher, video, or different forms a media)
2. Experiencing code through Swift or Ozobots
3. Learning how to code a robot or drone through Swift
4. Coding a robot or drone
5. Working on project showing what has been learned
