Social Studies

Our very first unit in Social Studies, will be on Geography. During this unit, students will review map skills, and demonstrat their understanding of location around the world using longitude and latitude.

Power Standards

• Utilize principle parallels and meridians on maps and globes to locate specific places.
• Demonstrate an understanding of relative location by using it to describe and locate countries.
