The first unit in science will begin the end of October. This unit will be entitled: EARTH

During this unit, students will be able too...

• Analyze and interpret data to compare the quantity of fresh, salt, and frozen water on the planet.
• Identify natural patterns to determine where underground water is most likely to be found.
• Make a model to explain how the hydrosphere and atmosphere interact to produce rain.
• Understand how the temperature of the ocean and the temperature of the sky affect evaporation and condensation.
• Examine the causes of flooding and propose a plan to protect towns from extreme flooding.
