Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) is a federally funded, statewide grant in Wyoming. The mission of GUWY is to increase the number of low-income students who graduate high school and enter a post-secondary educational institution to improve their access to career and life opportunities. GEAR UP Wyoming is a program for 7th-12th grade students. The goal of GEAR UP is to increase the number of eligible students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education by providing academic support, college preparation, camps, enrichment opportunities, career exploration, college campus visits, and family services. GEAR UP is completely free to students. Your student can pick up a GEAR UP application that can be returned to the school or on can be completed online https://nwccd.formstack.com/forms/gear_up_wyoming_application .
