Meet the Teacher

Hello, I’m Jess Aultman, raised, & now living/teaching in North-Eastern Wyoming.   I have been teaching primarily elementary art for the last 17 years since I graduated from the University of Wyoming. My teaching experience started in Cheyenne Wyoming and I have been at Sunflower for the last 9 years!   I love getting to share art experiences with my students and watching them grow as artist.  Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, fishing, gardening, and supporting my kiddos with whatever seasonal sports or activities they are partaking in. I also enjoy finding opportunities to apply my skills as a creator to different aspects of my life. Whether it be teaching my daughter to apply color schemes to the flowers we have selected for planting or teaching my son how to use a wood burner. This last summer I completed my Masters Degree from the Art of Education University!
