7th Grade Football is made up of two teams representing our school colors; the Red team and the White team. The 7th grade coaching staff works hard to make both 7th grade teams as equal as possible. 8th Grade Football has an A & B team.
Summer Weightlifting & Skills runs June 6th through August 3rd, 2023 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays from 7:00-8:30 am. Arrive at 6:45 am to get a complete workout. Meet on the football field. The Football Parent Meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 5:00 pm in the Sage Valley Jr. High Commons. Please bring the required paperwork mentioned below. Athletes will be checking out equipment afterwards.
Football practice begins Monday, August 14th. Practice the first week will be from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm for 8th grade and 3:45 pm to 5:15 pm for 7th grade. After the first week, practices will begin at 3:15 pm, with 7th grade practice ending at 5:00 pm and 8th grade practice ending at 5:15 pm.
Required paperwork in order to participate:
1) A physical dated on or after May 1, 2023 Physical Form
2) A completed Assumption of Risk form (both parent & student signatures and policy number) Assumption of Risk Form
