Title I is a federal grant program whose purpose is to ensure that all children have a fair and equitable opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and to reach proficiency on state academic assessments. Title I focuses on supplemental instruction in the areas of Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies. CCSD provides financial assistance through the Title I grant to schools with a free and reduced lunch percentage in excess of 35%. Campbell County serves 8 elementary schools with Title I funds and 2 Private Schools. Each school uses these dollars to facilitate and enhance components of their school improvement plan to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards.
 

Ready 4  Learning
Ready 4 Learning is funded and supported by Title I Part A Preschool. The purpose of the program is to assist students in being prepared for success in Kindergarten. It is taught by Certified Elementary School teachers with Early Childhood endorsements.  The curriculum is the preschool versions of what is used in the School District.  The program is free.  For Registration dates, forms, and further information please contact 686-5786 or view the Ready 4 Learning link to download forms.
