I received the Wyoming DARE Educator of the Year award in 2008 and again in 2023. I was asked to serve as the Wyoming D.A.R.E. Educator in 2008 after receiving the award. My job is to train and support our awesome Wyoming D.A.R.E. officers. I have presented yearly on a variety of topics at the Wyoming School Safety Conference, three times International D.A.R.E. conferences, and once at the Missouri D.A.R.E conference. I love D.A.R.E. because it sends a strong message to children about making responsible choices. D.A.R.E. also encourages a positive relationship between students and law enforcement officers. These relationships are essential to building strong communities and productive citizens!
