PHILOSOPHY
The Campbell County School District Aquatic Center swimming program provides quality educational experiences in the aquatic environment. Recognizing the wide range of interests, needs and abilities represented in the student population, it is the goal of the program to provide a wide scope of instruction to accommodate those needs and interests. In addition, the CCSD Aquatic Center cooperates fully with various agencies in our community to ensure proper use of the Aquatic Center by the general population of Campbell County. At all levels, instruction will be aimed at promoting a safety conscious attitude while fostering an enjoyment of aquatic activities as a lifetime physical fitness alternative.
WHAT WE DO
Provide American Red Cross swim lessons to over 5,000 elementary students in and around Campbell County each school year
Provide Lifeguard Certification and Water Safety Instruction Certification to high school students and community members
Facilitate high school and junior high school swimming and diving programs
