Current Unit of Study: European Explorers
We have begun our unit on European Explorers. In this unit we will be investigating interactions between cultures and determining whether or not those interactions were positive. In order to facilitate this process, we will be examining accounts of the same event from different perspectives. This includes reading parts of Morning Girl, an entry from Columbus' Journal and The Sad Night. During this unit we will also be conducting a research project on European Explorers. Our goal will be to create a newspaper article describing the "new world" of North and South America. We are looking forward to researching with the Chromebooks!
