Location of lockers?
Lockers are located outside your child's team based homeroom.
Who do I contact if my locker is broken, or I do not remember the combination?
Have your child contact the school secretary. Someone will then check the locker to make sure it works. If the locker is broken your child will be issued a new locker.
How do you open a locker?
Lockers have a 3 number combination built in.
1st: Turn to the RIGHT a few times to clear it…STOP ON THE FIRST NUMBER
2nd: Turn to the LEFT – stop at the 2ND number, the 2ND time you see it
3rd: Turn to the RIGHT – DO NOT STOP AT THE 3RD NUMBER – when you reach the 3rd number, KEEP TURNING AND START PULLING (you will end up about 5 numbers past the last number)
At Felix V. Festa Middle School we value and recognize the importance of parent/teacher communication as a vital component in the process of educating young adolescents. Parents are always urged to speak to the teachers directly regarding concerns they may have. Teachers may be contacted directly through email, and a parent-team meeting may be called in situations where parents and/or teachers deem it necessary to speak to all their child’s teachers and school counselor. If you would like an appointment to see an individual teacher, please email the teacher directly or call the school's main office.
Email (basic email template is teacher's first name initial and last name @ ccsd.edu, so for example, John Smith is jsmith@ccsd.edu)
How can a child obtain working papers?
Once child is exactly 14 years old (on their birthday or after) please have them see Mrs. Forsberg in the D-School office for the necessary papers. An appointment will then be made for your child to meet with the D-School Principal for a signature.
