Internet Connection is needed to set up your Chromebook.
If you are asked to sign in to your Chromebook enter the student's email. The email will be the student's first name and last name, input as one word and in lower case. e.g.: janedoe
Then press Next, and enter the 9 digit numbers the school gave to your child for the password.
Once you're logged in, go to the bottom right corner of the screen and click on the gray area to open a small window. Then, you will click on the gears icon to open the settings.
In the settings window, click on About Chrome OS and then click on Check for updates.
Finally, you will need to restart your Chromebook by pressing the Restart button in the settings window.
Please update your Chromebook often by following the same steps.
