Learner's Permit Testing

EVHS IS Offering Learner’s Permit Testing!

Save time and register here to take your permit test at EVHS.

Culpeper County Public Schools has partnered with the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for students to take the learner’s permit test online at school.

The online learner’s permit test will be available for EVHS students who are 15 years and 6 months or older on the following dates:

You must enter your full legal name and date of birth. A parent or student email is recommended in order to receive registration confirmation, test results, notification of cancelled test event or changes to the date and time of the test.

Please study the Driver’s Manual located HERE before you take this test.  Do not rely on the DMV online Practice Exam for your study guide as it does not contain the actual test questions. You must be able to answer all 10 sign questions correctly before you can access the 30 general knowledge questions on the test.

After the student passes the online learner’s permit test at the school, the student will need to schedule an appointment with the DMV to obtain their learner's permit.  Please see these tips for scheduling an appointment for the issuance of a learner's permit on the "Quick Reference to Schedule an Appointment for the Issuance of the Learner's Permit" page.

If you have any questions, please contact DMV by phone at (804) 497-7100 or stop by and see Ms. Warrick in office 706.
