Week at a Glance

Wow! Finally getting to an update!

1.9.20

Here is what we have going on:

Math - finishing up review of addition/subtraction with rounding. Patterns (repeating and growing) will be next week.

Reading - working on reading strategies with S3R-QA (Survey the passage, Read, Record, Re-reread, highlight Questions and Answer) and we will be back at novel studies and reading workshop next week. Spelling packet and Spelling City are still in motion and that test is Friday.

Science - we began work and energy this week, study guide coming home today and the test will be Tuesday. This unit leads us into our simple machine unit which then lead us to the Veggie Derby! Stay tuned for that.
