World Culture Appreciation (WCAC)

We meet the SECOND Tuesday of the month.

Do you love learning about cultures of the world, increasing your knowledge and awareness, and making Monacan a more welcoming place for everyone? If so, WCAC (World Culture Appreciation Club) is the club for you. Each month, we’ll learn about a different world culture and have fun! Speakers who have firsthand cultural experience greatly enrich our meetings, so if you or someone you know is interested in speaking for us, contact us.

Our Goals are to help students...

1. Understand their cultural heritage and that of others around them

2. Branch out and try new holidays/traditions/ideas

3. Get charity hours for programs like Humanities, HPT, etc. and even for college applications

4. Share different cultures with the public

5. Make friends and talk about current events from different perspectives to see every side of the story

6. Raise money for the community

7. Bring more inclusivity to Monacan

8. Have fun!
