Our driver education students learn about hand position and steering during the first semester of their 10th grade year in health/pe/driver ed class. Here's a video that perfectly explains what is expected in behind-the-wheel here at Matoaca. Our instructors are dedicated to providing the highest quality driver education to teens in this community. Students are eligible to take behind-the-wheel at Matoaca as long as they have a learner's permit, they have completed the driver education classroom instruction, and if Matoaca is their home school.
