Though it may seem a long way off, there are many things that you can do in the Freshman year of high school to prepare yourself for a successful high school career and open doors for the future! Check out some of the resources and tips below to help guide you through the year.

Tips for Freshmen

Consider taking some career interest surveys to see fields you may be interested in!
Start to explore new options and interests in school! Join clubs and sports!
Work with parents to set goals for the future!
Work on organization!
Obtain and MAINTAIN good grades! It really starts to count now!
Create a support system of family, friends, school counselors and teachers who are going to positively impact you and push you to reach your goals!
Consider investigating how to make make your 10th grade schedule as competitive as possible (hint: GET GOOD GRADES)
