Richmond Region Speech & Debate Initiative
With the help of the Richmond Forum's Speech & Debate initiative, our Forensics team has been able to make many dreams possible. Pictured to the left are two advancers at the George Mason National Tournament. With the help of the Richmond Forum, costs were much cheaper to attend this tournament.
Debate Summer Camp
In the summer of 2019, 5 debate members went to Virginia Debate Academy. This summer, the Richmond Forum's Speech & Debate Initiative is providing scholarships for many students to attend Virginia Debate Academy and the Institute for Speech and Debate summer camps. We are so thankful!
Broad Run Spartan Classic
With the financial support the Richmond Forum's Speech & Debate Initiative has provided our team with, we were able to send select members to a national tournament at Broad Run High School and ended up winning 1st place overall!
