Reunited in 2018 for competition, the James River Debate Team has competed at local, state, and national tournaments, including but not limited to The Patriot Games Classic at George Mason University and The Broad Run Spartan Invitational. The James River Debate Team placed first at Regionals this year. With all of our team accomplishments, we have to thank The Richmond Forum and their Speech and Debate Initiative for making so many of these opportunities possible for our team. Our website is meant to provide resources for debaters and increase access to debate knowledge for everyone, regardless of income, school, or debate experience as well as provide updates for our team.
