Teacher office hours are 9-12 Monday-Friday

Welcome to the Elizabeth Scott Distant Learning site created to keep our Scott Scorpions engaged in learning, and thinking while on hiatus from school. The grade level lessons provided in this document are review activities and will not be graded. Also included you will find enrichment activities that encourage exploration and research. These activities are meant to be fun and promote creativity. This is a work in progress. We hope to provide you with a one stop shop for all of your needs. Please check the site periodically as we will be updating it regularly.

It cannot be stressed enough, it is very important for your child to continue to read at least 30 minutes per day. For children who are not yet readers, I strongly recommend that an adult or sibling reads to them daily as well. If you click on the reading tab above, you will see a list of questions you can ask your child as they (or you) read.

Scott teachers will be holding “office hours” from 9:00- 12:00 Monday through Friday. During this time, they will be available to respond to emails and communicate with students as necessary. Please continue to use whatever method of communication you have already established with your child’s teacher. Bienvenidos al sitio de aprendizaje a larga distancia de Elizabeth Scott creado para continuar el aprendizaje y la curiosidad de los Scott Scorpions mientras hay un hiato de la escuela. Las lecciones de cada grado proveídas en este documento son actividades de repaso y no serán calificadas. También incluidos encontrarán actividades de enriquecimiento que fomentan la exploración y la búsqueda. La intención de estas actividades es que sean divertidas y que promuevan la creatividad. No se puede estresar suficiente lo importante que es que su hijo continúe leyendo como mínimo 30 minutos al día. Para estudiantes que todavía no son lectores, es muy recomendado que un adulto o hermano mayor les lea diariamente también. Si usted hace click en el tab de arriba, va a ver una lista de preguntas que le puede hacer a sus hijos mientras leen.

Las maestra de Scott tendrán sus horas de oficina de 9:00 - 12:00 de lunes a viernes. Durante este tiempo, estarán disponibles para responder correos electrónicos y comunicarse con los estudiantes mientras sea necesario.
