Mentoring is one of the most impactful opportunities we have to offer students and to volunteers. This is the opportunity for a caring adult to have an authentic relationship with a child. All CIS Mentoring takes place at school, during school hours under the supervision of the CIS Site Coordinators. Mentors are asked to complete an application, attend training and receive on-going support from the Site Coordinators throughout their match. Mentors are matched to a student in grades K-12 based on which grade level the mentor chooses and which grade level’s schedule is most convenient.
