School Counselor
Ms. Sonnessa
My name is Erin Sonnessa and I am thrilled to be the new school counselor for Laurel Elementary and Fancy Gap Elementary School. I was born and raised in Northern Virginia. I attended Old Dominion University where I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services. I have recently graduated from Virginia Tech where I received my Master’s in Education Counseling with a focus on School Counseling. This will be my first year as a School Counselor, and I consider myself to be lucky to have this opportunity to pursue my passion, elementary school counseling. I am so excited to get started. This is going to be a fun year filled with learning, growth and lots of new adventures. It is my hope that this school year will be fun and successful experiences for all students. I cannot wait to get to know you, your family, and most importantly your child!
