The mission of the Caroline Middle School Counseling Program is to provide a comprehensive and developmental program that addresses the academic, career, and personal/social needs of each student. In collaboration with educators, parents, and the community, our school counselors work to prepare our diverse student population to be successful lifelong learners in our ever changing society. Caroline Middle School follows the American School Counselor Association national model which is a framework for a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program.

help students identify problems, causes, alternatives and possible consequences so they can make decisions and take appropriate action
are planned, goal-focused, evidenced-based and short-termed in nature
Examples of small group include but not limited to: grief, academic skills, coping skills, healthy relationships, friendships, and self-esteem.
