2022...

June 2022

The 2021-2022 school year wrapped up with a major announcement!

We are excited to announce that the CCST Medium/Heavy Diesel Technology Program is now recognized by the Associated Equipment Distributors Foundation!

The AED Foundation helps partner together dealers and businesses in the heavy equipment industry with quality education facilities. The CCST Diesel Program has successfully met the AED Foundation's requirements based upon curriculum and facility standards, along with the help of our Caterpillar dealership sponsor Carter Machinery and our articulation agreement with the Pennsylvania College of Technology.

The AED Foundation recognition will help to continue to elevate the CCST Diesel Program to the benefit of its current and future students, by reinforcing the quality technical training that they receive here at CCST for their eventual careers.

... and to go along with this, York Building Products has generously donated a Terex telehandler which will provide CCSt Diesel Tech students opportunities to engage with heavy equipment and hydraulic repairs. Thank you again to York Building Products and especially Jim Gawthrop and Shannon Crouse at York for making this donation a reality!!

May 2022

May was all about certifications in the Diesel Technology Program, as the students finished up their training and participated in industry recognized certification testing.

While the junior class finalized their shop safety certificates, the seniors worked to achieve entry-level ASE and EPA Section 609 certifications.

We are so proud of both classes for their hard work and achievements this year!

April 2022

April showers (or in this case torrential downpours) didn't hinder students at CCST from being able to network with employers at our 2022 Job Fair!

April 7th, 2022

CCST students dressed for success, and handed out resumes that they craft with the help of our awesome School Counselor Jen Bird. Many of the CCST Diesel Technology seniors have follow-up interviews scheduled with employers that have visited our campus at the Job Fair and throughout the year.

THANK YOU TO THE BUSINESSES SEEKING CCST DIESEL TECHNICIAN STUDENTS FOR POSSIBLE EMPLOYMENT!

March 2022

March madness was in full effect as students worked hard to gain more skills and knowledge.

The CCST Diesel Technology Program was once again extremely grateful for the help of area businesses, this month the Allan Myers Company stepped up with an engine donation!

HUGE THANK YOU!!!

To the Allan Myers Company for an engine donation of a John Deere trailered water pump. Big shout out as well to Allan Myers Superintendent of Operational Services John Shabrach for taking time out of his busy schedule to deliver the engine and speak with the CCST Diesel Tech senior class.

 February 2022

We are especially grateful for AG Industrial's continued support of the Diesel Program!

Now we have two tractors thanks to their generosity, below is the 1989 Ford 8730 they helped us start the program with.

Thank you to AG Industrial, New Holland, W.C. Logan and Sons for all working together to secure the new addition to the CCST Diesel Technology vehicle fleet.
