Think about your audience. Think about how you can relate your speech to them and keep them interested in what you are saying.
Think about how you want your audience to react or feel. Think about how you can modify your language and your delivery to reflect this.
Think about what the message of your speech is. What do you want the audience to take away with them? You need to have a clear purpose to your speech.
You are not allowed a script, but you can make some notes on cue cards. Practise your speech lots. Record yourself in front of a camera so you can assess yourself and modify your speech accordingly.
Think about the sorts of questions that people might have, and prepare some potential responses to these.
