‘First Glimpse Healthcare’  The HSE Mid-West are delighted to announce that we are now taking applications for a TY

Health Care Placement ‘First Glimpse Healthcare’ from the 24 th – 27 th November 2025. The

programme will run for 4 days from 9am – 3pm Monday – Thursday in Croom Primary Care

Centre.  Students have to be 16 years old before the October 20th.  Copies of the application form wll be available from Tuesday 7th under the plasma area. Forms must be returned by Friday October 17th. 

PATHWAYS TO A CAREER IN OUTDOOR EDUCATION FOR TRANSITION YEAR STUDENTS

 Coláiste Chiaráin from 27-29 January (3 days)

Aim: To develop skills in adventure sports, basic instruction skills and explore career pathways

Pumpkin Patch Staff Needed - Woodlands Hotel

Lynne Morrissey who works at the Woodlands Hotel in Adare 

We are doing a pumpkin patch at the hotel this year and We're looking for probably 2-4 people to interact with kids in character as scarecows etc. THIS IS A PAID POSITION and we thought might work for your TY students.

It would mainly involve dressing up, adding to the atmosphere, and helping create a fun and festive experience for families visiting.

It could be a great chance to get involved in the community, get paid (and have a bit of fun in costume at the same time!).

Dates would be :

• 18th - 19th Oct

• 25th Oct - 2nd Nov (inclusive)

• Times 9am -5:30pm (Estimated)
