University of Limerick Entrepreneurship Camp for TY students: 13-15th October 2026

The University of Limerick is pleased to invite Transition Year students from DEIS schools in the Limerick region to participate in the upcoming UL Entrepreneurship Camp, taking place from 13–15 October 2026 at the Nexus Innovation Centre on campus.

This three-day camp is delivered in partnership by the Kemmy Business School, the Nexus Innovation Centre and the UL Access Office. It is designed to inspire and equip students with an entrepreneurial mindset while developing key skills in creativity, teamwork, and leadership.

During the programme, students will:

• Participate in interactive workshops and role-playing activities focused on sustainable entrepreneurship.

• Engage with guest speakers, including experienced entrepreneurs, student founders and career guidance advisors.

• Receive mentoring from graduate entrepreneurs and representatives of government development agencies.

• Explore pathways to higher education and experience life on a university campus.

• Work in teams to develop and pitch their own sustainable business concepts in a culminating competition to win fantastic prizes.

 The camp aims to build confidence, broaden career horizons and empower students to consider their future possibilities with a renewed sense of purpose.
