Reading and watching television
I suggest students read at least one book every week. They can listen to audio books as well if they want to, but they have to read at least a book every week.
The books have to be based on his/her level of reading.
Here are some online resources for books. Not all resources are free.
If you wish to go to the library, I suggest Robert Munsch, Dr. Seuss, Jeff Kinney just to name a few.
I suggest that students watch at least one television program in English every week.
They will fill out the television journal every week.
The program has to be at least 20 minutes.
Parents will sign the journal every week.
